I am a busy mother of two bright and talented daughters, ages 10 and 13 and a wife of 19 years to an athletic, software engineer.  I work during tax season, Feb to April 15 and on a few clients year round. I stay busy volunteering at school, as a Girl Scout leader and driving my girls all around Phoenix. We swim alot and both girls sing in the Phoenix Girls Chorus so we go to many performances.  I inherited arthritus at age 24 and I am limited in my activities.  We enjoy time and traveling together as a family. My family is my treasure.

 

I remember pep rallies, decorating the halls, and dressing in orange and black on Fridays. I had fun with Pep Club and Drill team performances at Football games.  What good fun we had!

 

Thanks to all the folks who have put this reunion and website together.  It must be tons of work.  Even though I can't come, it is fun to be in touch with people again.  High school seems so far ago, especially when you move to another town.

After finishing college, I went to work in the Utah desert building and testing booster rockets for the

space shuttle. I joined the FBI in 1992. For the last ten years or so I've been chasing bank robbers,

fugitives and assorted violent criminals around central California. In 1999, I married my beautiful wife

Rebecca. We spend quite a bit of time in church activities and raising a herd of rabbits. (Actually it

doesn't take much to raise a herd of rabbits. Just throw two in the back yard and in a couple of

months you magically have a herd.) I like to tinker around with old cars from time to time. I still have

the same old Plymouth Barracuda I drove in high school (much to the chagrin of my wife). Actually

I like anything that deals with planes, trains and automobiles. Some things never change.

 

I think what I remember most about high school are the good friends, football games and cars.

I am married to an incredible man of 16 years. Kim married me and 3 daughters and we have a

daughter and finally a son together.

 

Linze is starting her senior at OU she is Rush Chair for Chi Omega Sorority this summer and her

twin Lerin has been accepted to the OU Health Sciences Center in the fall. Lerin is President of

Tri Delta Sorority. My third daughter Jenni just graduated and will start at OU in the fall. (where else).

Adison (4th dtr) will be in 7th grade at Sequoyah Middle School and our son Parker will be in 6th

grade. We are finally done with elementary! Kim and I do a lot of traveling, love the water, prefer the

ocean, sailed the Grenadine Islands in February, however, Lake Eufaula has always, always been a

blast! Most importantly always spend time with the spouse the children will grow up!

 

Spending time with Cindy T, Leigh Ann L, which would include Don M, Bobby H, and Russell H. Oh lets not forget Carl Gatti and that Van! Great times at Turner Falls! I will never forget our Sophomore year and our Senior year as Football State Champs! The best times! Thank you to all persons involved in bringing us together inspite of our ages, loss of hair and weight gain! Looking forward to a night of FUN!

My mother, Sheri, has passed away in December of 2007. She is survived by her daughter, Brandy, 2 sons, Greg and Stephen, her sisters, and parents. My husband and I work together in our dental practice 4 days a week. Scot is also a dentist and we

really enjoy our life. We have two great kids Alex (16) and Natalie (14). Alex is the captain of the

Shawnee HS swim team and plays the tuba. Natalie is a social butterfly and seems to do great at

what ever she has her mind set on at the momment! All in all I feel blessed with such a great family.

I'm doing really well.  Enjoying my new life after 40 and have a wonderful man helping me enjoy !  My job turned career keeps me on my toes and I love it about 40 hours each week.  I have two great boys that I am trying to keep an eye on as they turn into young men.  I have wonderful friends, one in particular that I'm happy to have kept since high school and one that I have recently found again.  They are in this very special group of people from the Class of 1978.

 

I don't have just one memory and although I wouldn't want to redo my high school years, I wouldn't trade those friendships or memories for anything.  These memories are what made us who we are today.

Family Planning class. Russell Healy stealing the keys to the school bus and taking it for a joy ride

during an overnight swim meet trip to Tulsa.

 

I am very proud to have gone to Putnam City High School but my kids haven't shared that same

level of pride our class experienced, so its great timing for this reunion. My kids get to hear old stories about what it was like to be a Pirate and its had an effect on them. Also, thanks to Pete and maybe others for a great class web site.
